My role as a vendor manager is primarily to maintain a good relationship with a supplier (mainly freelancers). It involves recruiting new vendor and testing them on the main field to ensure that they will meet TEXTivors requirements. My duty involves more than getting the lowest price from a vendor. Most often the lowest price also brings the lowest quality.
Part of my job is also to update the record about the vendor with their relevant skill and information, sending vendor payment and answering invoicing queries and the most important is always to make sure that the vendor signs the non-disclosure agreement of the company.
